Where would you find this? What was it once used for?

Answer:
This is the lighthouse in front of the queue for the Storybook Land Canal Boats ride in Disneyland's Fantasyland. As with Mystery Photo #13 (July 13, 2006), this was once a ticket booth in the days when each ride required a ticket.

The responses I received were:

Jeff Toro
The only lighthouse I remember is/was in Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland, but it was red and white striped. I dont know if its there anymore, though. Was it the original ticket booth for the canal boat ride from the 50's and 60's? Got that thought from the Alice in Wonderland photo from a couple weeks ago.
-- I was wondering if anyone would remember back to the mushroom. I've noticed a few things change colors over the years, too.

Shannon
That is in front of StoryBook Land but I don't know what it used to be used for.

This is the French Market Restaurant in Disneyland's New Orleans Square.

What was this building, hidden in the trees, once used for? What "land" would you see it in?

Answer:
This is the Fantasyland station for the old Skyway to Tomorrowland ride, simply called the Sky Buckets by many. I've heard it is now home to many of the cats who live in Disneyland.

The responses I received were:

BBlast
That building is the old Skyway that is located just above Fantasyland. (The other end being in Tomorrowland.)

As a side note, even though they closed it because it was too "expensive" to operate (read, it took too many employees to operate), I LOVED that ride and the fact that it went THROUGH the Matterhorn made it very unique and loveable. Great ride!

Jeff Toro
This hidden building housed the entrance and exit to the Skyway to Tomorrowland. The "land" was Fantasyland, but you could see Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, I think Adventureland, Frontierland, all of them, and the inside of the Matterhorn.

Tim & Malinda
It is the former Skyway station in Fantasyland.

Where would you find this?

Answer:
This man, made out of Legos®, is on a bench next to the Lego® store in Downtown Disney. Judging by his feet, it would appear people are taking him apart, piece by piece, for souvenirs. On a later visit, I noticed his feet had been rebuilt.

I have been informed that this man has a twin at the Walt Disney World Downtown Disney Lego® store as well.

The responses I received were:

Jeff Toro
In the Lego store?

Tim & Malinda
Outside the Lego store at Downtown Disney.

Susan Kozicki
If you have a Lego store at DL.

He used to be seen at the Lego store at DTD at Walt Disney World, but I did not see him the last time I was there.

Where would you find this sign?

Answer:
This sign is on the Alice in Wonderland float in the Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams at Disneyland.

A couple more views of the float:

The responses I received were:

Brian Martsolf
Since the foreground sign looks to be in a Fantasyland or Toontown style, and the background looks like Main Street U.S.A., then this looks like it's on a parade float to me... As for which float...perhaps one dedicated to Alice in Wonderland (the directional sign makes me think of that or Toad and Toad's less likely to be in a parade).
-- Good deducing!

I will make a guess to say that this sign is in Toontown. My other thought was maybe by Mullholland Madness. I know I've seen this, but can't put my finger on where.

Shannon
Toon Town.

Richard Blythe
This is the transition at the Orange Crush (5 - 57 - 22 fwy's).
Um, ok, Toon Town.

Ann Marie Fowler
The latest picture with the sign is, my guess, located at Autopia at DL.

Or is it at Mullholand Madness at DCA?

Where would you find this? Where would you have seen this Audio-Animatronic® character before it was installed here?

Answer:
This is one of two droids (not counting R2D2 or C3PO) you can see in the queue for Star Tours in Disneyland. Before being moved to Star Tours, these two Audio-Animatronic® characters were geese in the long gone America Sings attraction. Many other AA characters from America Sings can now be found in the Splash Mountain ride.

Where would you find this restroom? (Idea courtesy of Richard Blythe.)

Answer:
Richard's suggestion was: "Idea for a picture: Pic of a restroom themed sign that is less visited, like behind AAA (still open?) or by del Zocolo." I focused on "less visited" and "del Zocolo" and took it to the extreme. This isn't the one he was thinking of, but... (By the way, Richard, what is AAA? I'm coming up blank on that one. I'm not very good with acronyms.)

This is what is often referred to as the Secret Restroom. Located in the Carnation Gardens Plaza (near the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante) and intended mainly for families and the handicapped, it is the only publicly accessible private and lockable restroom in Disneyland. Since it is hidden from open view, very few people know it even exists.

I have heard that there is one more private restroom in the park. That one is in Aladdin's Oasis, and only available when the Oasis is open, which lately seems to be never. I have not seen this restroom. (Edited 8/12/06: I have recently read on the MiceChat forums that Aladdin's Oasis has reopened.)

A couple more shots of the plaza:

Who is this?

Answer:
This is Tom Morrow, the robot just inside the entrance to Innoventions in Disneyland's Tomorrowland. Innoventions is housed in the rotating building ("The fastest building in Disneyland!") that once housed the America Sings and Carousel of Progress attractions.

He was also known as Time Keeper in the now defunct The Time Keeper circle vision attraction in Walt Disney World.

Many thanks to Jeff Toro for helping me nail down the correct identity for this Audio-Animatronic® character at Walt Disney World. He also found a mention that a Mr. Tom Morrow served as Mission Control for Disney World's Flight to the Moon attraction from 1971 to 1975. I don't know if this actual character was used, but I would bet it was only the name that got reused, not the Audio-Animatronic® character.

One other item Jeff found mentioned him being paged in the Star Tours attraction. I was in Westminster when he emailed me this, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Disneyland, so I went back there to ride the Star Tours ride and see about this. I neither saw, nor heard any mention of Tom Morrow or Time Keeper on that ride but later confirmed that he is paged at some point in the queue area.

The responses I received were:

Jeff Toro
I didn't know they have Tom Morrow at Disneyland. Where is he?
-- Thanks again for your help! But, we still haven't figured out why you knew his name was Tom Morrow when you know him from Disney World.

Shannon
Don't know his name - I know, bad Shannon - but he is in Tomorrowland in the big round building - wow words are just not here this morning.

Tim & Malinda
Tom Morrow from Innoventions.

James Bond
I believe that's the late, lamented Timekeeper.

Janet Leiker
