Where would you find this?

Answer:
This is Disneyland's Main Street Cinema, where you can see the 1928 cartoon "Steamboat Willie" and a few other favorite Disney classics. "Steamboat Willie" was the world's first synchronized-sound cartoon, and also featured the debut appearances of both Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The entrance to Steamboat Willie.

DisneyDede
I think this is in a building on Main St. I forget which one. I haven't been there since 2003.

Tim & Malinda
Main Street Cinema.

Jayson Weingarten
I think it's the Main Street Cinema. A very nice place to go when it's hot during the summer.

John and Heather
The current photo is the booth at the entrance to the Main Street Cinema in Disneyland. This theatre plays short features on it's six screens.

BBlast
That is from the theater on Main Street that constantly plays Disney cartoons.

What is this building? What shows and attractions does it house?

Answer:
This is the Animation Building in California Adventure's Hollywood Pictures Backlot. This building houses the Turtle Talk with Crush, Animation Academy, Character Close-Up and Sorcerer's Workshop attractions and shows.

This is the Animation Building at the Disney Studios in Burbank (which, incidentally, is located where Walt originally intended to build Disneyland). The Animation Building in California Adventure was designed to resemble the back part of this building, as it looks from the freeway behind. Trees and bushes have now grown tall enough to all but completely obscure that view, however.

The responses I received were:

Tim & Malinda
The Animation Building at California Adventure. It houses Turtle Talk with Crush, Animation Academy and something else...

Jeff Toro
This is Disney Animation, home to Animation Academy where you can learn the secrets of how to draw Disney characters, the Sorcerer's Workshop where you create your own animation, learn what character you most resemble, and add sound to the classics, and also home to Turtle Talk with Crush where you can actually talk with Crush. Its really cool how this is done.

Shannon
The Animation Building - it houses quite a lot but the one show is Talking with Crush. Love that show.

John and Heather
It's the Disney Animation building in California Adventure. I don't recall all the shows and attractions it houses as I haven't been into it in a couple of years. I do know there is one attraction where you can find out which Disney character you might be...

The responses I received were:

Jeff Toro
The track on Alice in Wonderland.

Shannon
Alice in Wonderland.

DisneyDede
I think Alice in Wonderland. We came out once in 2003 and I didn't get to ride this 'til the last night there cuz it kept raining.
-- I went to Disneyland on Thursday specifically because it was supposed to rain all day. I had never experienced the park in the rain before. It didn't start raining until about 3:00pm, but it was still interesting seeing how things changed once it started coming down. It sure didn't dampen anyone's spirits. I had fun.

Brock Cordeiro
I think that is the Alice in Wonderland attraction.

Tim & Malinda
The Alice in Wonderland ride.

Kirby
Alice in Wonderland. My personal favorite of the Disneyland Fantasyland dark rides!
A Disneyland original in that it was never cloned for the other parks.

BBlast
That one is just TOO easy to answer..but I WILL tell you this. This year I turn 51..and THAT was the FIRST ride in Dizzyland that I was on!!

The responses I received were:

Vicki
This is Dopey, he stands with the other 6 dwarfs on a rock ledge below Snow White, above the pond at the side of the castle. He and the other dwarfs are the same size as Snow White but appear smaller due to the placement of the statues. They are made of Italian porcelain.

Shannon
One of my favs - Dopey and that is in Snow White's Grotto - one of the most serene places in the park - love it there.

Jeff Toro
To the side of the castle.

Tim & Malinda
Snow White's Grotto.

Melissa Thompson
At the Snow White fountain in front of the castle.

Richard Blythe
Dopey. Next to the wishing well.

Kirby
Dopey is in Snow White's Grotto.

Who is this? Where would you see them?

Answer:
These are The Miner '49ers, a musical act that plays in front of the Rushin' River Outfitters in Disney's California Adventure.

Click on the image to enlarge

The responses I received were:

Vicki
It's Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, normally seen at the Golden Horseshoe saloon...
-- I wasn't expecting anyone to think of the Hillbillies, but I can see why that came to mind.

Tim & Malinda
Don't know who it is but they are near Grizzly River Run.

John and Heather
The musicians pictured are The Miner 49'ers and can be found opposite Rushin' River Outfitters near Grizzly River Run attraction in the California Adventure park. We were just there in mid-January and spent some time listening to these guys...

What is this, and where would you see it?

Answer:
Located in Disney's California Adventure, just outside the Monster's Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue! ride, this is one of the Monstropolis Cab Co. cars you ride in that attraction. This one was put outside the ride so people could pose for pictures while sitting in it.

The responses I received were:

Tim & Malinda
Outside the Monsters Inc. ride.
