This spire is atop the entrance to the Everything Under the Sun store in California Adventure.

That's either a "statue" in Tomorrowland or one on top of a building in the HPB. But I'll say Tomorrowland as it looks like a planet.
-- You should have stuck with Hollywood Pictures Backlot since it was closer, though Tomorrowland was a good guess, too.

Judging by the art deco look, I am going to guess somewhere in the Golden State area of DCA, over by the Golden Dreams show.
